The Return of the Recliner

Gone are the days of the mammoth recliner. That tweedy, green duct-taped monster from the sitcom Frasier doesn't have to be the only option for reclined seating anymore. Now recliners are sleeker and more comfortable than ever. Even La-Z-Boy, a manufacturer of mammoth recliners have gone modern with their Todd Oldham line. I prefer these new reincarnations to their lounge chair and ottoman counterpart, because they take up less space and less visual clutter. My personal favorite is the Metro Recliner from Restoration Hardware, but I can also see the retro geek in me wanting to sit in the Horizon, saying, "Fire! Scotty! Take the Enterprise...thataway!"
